Edie McClurg — you may not recognize the name, but if you heard her distinctive voice, it would be as familiar as a family friend.

Not only has Edie appeared in dozens of movies and T.V. shows, but she’s also done a ton of voice-acting in Cars, Clifford the Big Red Dog, A Bug’s Life, The Little Mermaid, and Frozen.

Her acting career lasted for over three decades, and her credits are too numerous to list.

Her performance in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and her delivery of the line, “He’s a righteous dude!” cemented her as a true comedy genius.

Edie is in the news again.
