I’m not saying that anybody who continues to think about someone or who is hung up on someone is a narcissist. I’m also not saying that all narcissists are men. What I am saying is that if someone is a narcissist then they tend to be manipulative and their feelings may have more to do with themselves than the person they say they love.

I agree with you though that there are men who can’t get over an ex, or who suffer because of the mistakes they’ve made and they’re definitely not narcissists.
